GGA Institute organizes workshops, meetings or contributes to organisation of conferences. It offers interesting jobs, mainly in the field of applied, physical geosciences. This holds for scientific and technical staff.

On the occasion of special events, the institute releases flyers for the press. Often, research activities of the institute are reported in the media. Scientific results are presented as publications, posters or as oral contributions to workshops and conferences.

Their are periodical, external appraises for the GGA-Institute. The last appraise has been in December 2004 and is documented by the senate of the Leibniz Accosiation (pdf).
