GGA Institute conducts research in the field
of applied geosciences with special emphasis on geophysics. Scientific work
is focussed on the upper part of the Earth's crust, i.e., on the subsurface
that is particularly important for economic use and for a sustainable life.
Our main research objectives are
- reconnaissance of structures and of the state of the subsurface
- processes and their impacts on the geosphere and the ecology
- development and optimization of methods and techniques that are required
to fulfill such tasks.
Thematic and methodical works are linked to each other in a
matrix structure.
